Oregon Aquarium: Oddwater Exhibit at the Oregon Coast Aquarium

See a World Where Oddness Rules

Curious about all things weird and strange? Ever wonder why some creatures look and behave differently from the rest? Wanna see something you’ve never seen before? At the Oddwater Exhibit at the Oregon Aquarium, your eyes will behold some of the most interesting and unique marine creatures you’ve never seen before!

It’s Great to be Weird at the Oregon Coast Aquarium’s Oddwater Exhibit

At the newest exhibit that the Oregon Coast Aquarium has to offer, feed your curiosity for all things odd and weird with their Oddwater Exhibit. This exhibit takes a closer look at marine creatures we don’t often see: putterfishes that seem to smile at you, beautiful lion fish that lure you into a death trap and chambered nautilus that uses strange-looking jet propulsion to move. See how creatures adapt to environmental change and be amazed at the uncanny display of survival of the fittest.

I personally loved this exhibit. It not only opened my eyes to strange but beautiful sea creatures we often overlook, but also reminded me of nature’s resiliency in adapting to environmental changes. If you have kids, seeing this exhibit will teach them the beauty of uniqueness. I brought my fourteen-year-old niece here and she loved it!

Oregon Coast Aquarium: Why Kids Love It

See Why Your Kids Will Surely Love Oregon Coast Aquarium

Planning an educational trip for your kids this fall? The Oregon Coast Aquarium is a child-friendly and fun place to bring your children. It has great facilities and a lot of interactive shows and exhibits that your child can participate in. You won’t hear whines of boredom from your little ones here!

Every summer, my sister plans an educational trip with her children. And almost every summer, I lend her a hand in trying to amuse the kiddies. It’s difficult stuff sometimes, I must admit, to mix learning and fun for children. A lot of museums and other historical sites are not very child-friendly and tend to bore very young kids. But when we took my nephews and nieces to the Oregon Coast Aquarium, we had an unforgettable time! Even now, the kids won’t stop talking about it. The staff is very friendly and helpful, eager to explain things to us. And most importantly, the kids were able to actively take part in the shows!

Want to know what your kids can look forward to at the Oregon Coast Aquarium? Here are some of the great stuff they offer:
